quick tips for the girl on the go

for eyeliner:

if it is tough and pulling at your eye when applying, run it under hot water for 15 seconds, i tried this and it glided on perfectly afterwards

for lipstick:

don't ever apply just one coat. if you want it to last, apply a coat, then blot. apply chapstick then reapply lipstick.

when choosing what to put in your bag, i suggest these multitasking items:

lotion

chapstick

bronzer

also, nail files are a huge lifesaver

my best friend is engaged to her marine boyfriend, and i am just sooo excited to be in her wedding (which is planned for the year after we graduate, 2013!) yes i know only 2% of marriages out of highschool last, but i guarantee they will last.

morgan and josh are my inspiration for love. they're both small-town, country-loving fools. they show me that love can exist through highschool. im so happy for them, and i cant wait to be able to walk down the aisle as one of her maids-of-honor (she'll have two, me and our other best friend olivia). and the man i'll be walking with will be none other than my ex and first love, jordan. thats what im nervous about. we always planned to have a double wedding, but then jordan and i broke up because my parents thought we were getting too serious, which was true. but i still love that boy with all my heart. so hopefully someday we'll be together again. preferably before morgans wedding because jordan is josh's best friend, so we do HAVE to walk together.

i know this is a weird rant coming from me, but i just want to say that even though im heartbroken, i know love is out there waiting for me. the key is to not look for it. it will present itself when the time is right.

although christmas does seem awfully lonely without someone to kiss under the miseltoe, i have morgan and olivia there by my side. so if you're feeling the christmas blues, YOU ARENT ALONE. im right here with ya ;)

im kind of hyper because i just had a coffee from bread co! they seriously make the best light roast EVERRR
todays a good day because i dont have to work and im going to the mall to buy a new pair of uggs. yes, i said uggs. though im not really a fan, i saw these at journeys and i fell in love. they look soo cozy and warm and with leggings and leg warmers underneath, my legs will be nice and toasty in my -5 degree classes.

yes, i went twice. two days in a row. and it is a HIKE from the metro link to the zoo. the first time i went i was fortunate enough to be able to pet a stingray and a shark! their skin is soooo smooth and slimy. the second time i went i was with my best friends and i had a blast. the zoo is really sooo much fun!

lazy monday

i am as bored as can be. none of my friends can hang out and my personal life is in turmoil once again due to yet another boy. i think i should just be independent for awhile. sounds like a good plan. summer has been amazing so far. life seems to be coming together after my horrid breakup, at least. cheerleading has been going well. i just try to avoid this one girl who is annoying. sorry i havent posted in awhile. my camera broke, so i have to wait until my next paycheck to get a new one. oh yes, thats right i never told everyone that i work. at mcdonalds. yes, snicker now, but it actually is a very good job. the schedules are great. they work with my calendar. and the pay isnt that bad either.
hopefully this summer will be better...its looking up though :)
